Revision and pre-exam session (Grade 12)

The planned revision Session in October 2014 will be of benefit to the learners as at this stage all the schools are expected to have finalised the syllabus, learners have written preliminary exams and working hard for the final examinations.

A focussed revision session will be held from 04 to 11 October 2014 for all EHCD&KG sponsored Grade 12 learners to prepare them for the final exams in Mathematics and Physical Sciences.

The goals of the revision session are:

  • To revise and prepare for the examinations;
  • To familiarise learners with exam level questions;
  • To assist learners to focus on frequently tested sections of the Mathematics and Physics curriculum; and
  • To work on time management under exam conditions.

In addition E-HCD&KG university students will be invited to give a talk on their chosen science and engineering degrees, giving Grade 12 learners an insight of what to expect on degrees they want to pursue the following year. This will also assist them in coping and adapting as a first year student at university.
