Please Note:

  • Students are advised to consult their supervisor before submitting their thesis to the NRF.
  • After examination, an approved final version of the grantee's thesis or dissertation must be submitted to the University's institutional repository as required under the University's Policy for Master's and Doctoral Degrees.
  • This form must only be submitted to the NRF after approval has been granted by your institution's Research Office and the University Library.

Limitation = 50 words
e.g. Tshabalala, Lerato R. (surname, Name, Initials etc.)
(NB: Register your details at http://orcid.org to get an ORCID number)
NRF universities
Enter surname, initials, first name and optional title prefix e.g. Supervisor surname, A., Prof./Dr./Mr./Mrs./Ms.
When you submit your thesis, you will need to indicate the level of access you prefer. If, exceptionally, your thesis contains confidential material and you require an embargo preventing access to any version of your thesis, you must discuss it with your supervisor and make a restricted access request and submit it to your institution beforehand.
Only upload final approved ETD (PDF file) if your parent institution does not have a digital thesis/dissertation repository.
