Rating calls annually open in September and close mid-February for applicants*.

As approximately 90% or the rating application is migrated from the NRF Online Submissions System (https://nrfsubmission.nrf.ac.za/NrfMkII) applicants are advised not to wait for the call to open but to update their CV section at the above web link on a regular basis.

When the call is opened the information already captured in the CV section of the NRF Submission System will automatically appear when you create a rating application.

*Please refer to the Research Office at your institution to ascertain their internal closing date as rating applications have to screened and validated by the submitting institution.
