Hot Potatoes is a highly-rated freeware software package, developed by the
University of Victoria Language Centre, which allows non-programmers to
generate javascript multiple-choice quizzes, short-answer quizzes, Cloze

matching/ordering exercises. While these are essentially self-tests,
