1st A-Rating Professor Jenny M. Hoobler Faculty of Economic and Management SciencesUniversity of PretoriaNova School of Business and Economics Professor Jenny Hoobler’s research interests are gender and diversity in organisations, work and family intersections, and abusive supervision. She obtained her PhD from the University of Kentucky and was a Fulbright Scholar at the University of Pretoria before returning to the USA. She returned to UP as a Full Professor, and served as Acting Head of the Department of Human Resource Management and Deputy Dean for Research and Postgraduate Studies in the Faculty of Economic and Management Sciences. She is currently a Full Professor at the Nova School of Business and Economics in Lisbon, Portugal. Since 2019, Prof Hoobler served as the first-ever Africa-based Associate Editor of the Journal of Applied Psychology. She is a Fellow of the International Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology and she is on a six-year leadership track for the Academy of Management’s Gender and Diversity in Organizations division. To date, she has more than 175 research-based publications and presentations, including over 55 articles in refereed journals.
