NRF Insights

The National Research Foundation’s (NRF) NRF Insights series informs stakeholders and partners about the organisation’s activities and achievements. It is a series of publications that monitors and assesses the state of research and research funding in South Africa, centred around the NRF and its interventions. The purpose of the NRF Insights series is to inform external stakeholders and partners about the organisation’s activities and achievement, along with challenges and achievements in the research enterprise. The NRF Insights responds to the ambitions of NRF’s Vision 2030. The short publications highlight trends and provide brief updates on the NRF’s developments. Every issue is structured to highlighting a different key focus areas. The short publications are uploaded to the NRF’s website on a regular basis as data are available.
