Dr Gugu Moche currently serves as the Executive Director at the National Research Foundation where she is mainly responsible for Granting and Systems functions. She also serves as the Acting DCEO for RIISA. Before joining the NRF, Dr. Moche had served in academic and academic management positions both locally and internationally. The positions held include serving as Deputy Vice Chancellor: Teaching and Learning, Executive Dean of Faculty of Science, Engineering, and Technology, and Director of School of Science at a local University. In terms of training, Dr. Moche holds a PhD in Pure Mathematics from Howard University in Washington DC. Her interest in Mathematics is focused on Topological Semigroups.
