Announcement of Successful Applications for General Honours Scholarships in 2023

The National Research Foundation (NRF) and the Department of Science and Innovation (DSI) are pleased to announce the provisional awards for General Honours Scholarship for 2023 academic year. Honours awards have been made according to the strategic objectives of the honours funding instrument, the DSI NRF Postgraduate Funding Policy and the available budget. The announcement of the outcomes of applications for the NRF Scarce Skills Honours awards is however on hold, as the NRF has not as yet received the National Skills Fund (NSF) budget allocation for 2023/24 from the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET). These awards may only be made once a budget allocation becomes available.
