Applications for the 2025 YoungScientists Summer Program (YSSP) are open until January 13, 2025.

The International Institute of Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA) offers diverse opportunities, such as the
YSSP, to students from member organisation countries. Through the YSSP, Doctoral students undertaking
research projects using systems analysis methodology will have the opportunity to advance their research
under the supervision of an IIASA-linked researcher for three (3) months (June – August) at IIASA in
Vienna, Austria.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:

• Be a Doctoral student for the duration of the YSSP;
• Be based at one of the 17 countries participating in the SGCI;
• Be pursuing their Doctoral studies utilising systems analysis methodology; and
• Not have participated in the previous YSSP event.
