This conference aims to celebrate the telescope’s achievements in the scientific, engineering, and human capacity development domains. The conference will include invited and contributed presentations covering the following topics: High-impact MeerKAT science results. The innovative engineering required to deliver the instrument. The history of the project and its broader impact. The outlook of the future of radio astronomy on the African continent. Set in the beautiful town of Stellenbosch, in the heart of the Cape Winelands, we invite you to share in this celebration of the wide-ranging successes of this multifaceted African project.
