Short term opportunity for Post-Doctoral Fellow in laser synthesis of low-atomic number nanomaterials.

The Laser Chemical Vapour Deposition Research group is looking for a suitable candidate, holding a PhD in Physics and working in the field of nanomaterials. The candidate should be experienced with nanomaterials such as catalysts, those of boron, carbon and silicon. Furthermore, the candidate should be experienced in the use of high energy pulsed infrared lasers in conjunction with high temperature furnaces and having experience in the use of characterization techniques such as electron microscopy and Raman spectroscopy.
