wpadmin NRF in the News February 13, 2024 The National Research Foundation (NRF) congratulates Mr Mxolisi Mgojo on his appointment as President of Business Unity South Africa (Busa). Busa, the largest federation of private sector business organisations in the country, announced Mr Mgojo’s appointment recently. The NRF recognises Busa as one of the country’s strategic and influential organisations. The appointment of Mr Mgojo, a private business sector veteran whose previous positions include CEO of Exxaro Resources, bodes well for the organisation and presents an opportunity for engagement between research institutions and business. Says Dr Thandi Mgwebi, Group Executive: Business Advancement at the NRF, “Science and innovation are key to economic development and to the economic recovery of our country, which is why we need business and industry to partner with the NRF. “The NRF acknowledges Mr Mgojo’s extensive track record in business and looks forward to pushing the frontiers of science and innovation for economic benefit with Busa.” Share on Facebook Share on X
