wpadmin Science Matters January 19, 2023 Scientific knowledge is an important resource for all societies. Thus, researchers are being asked to engage members of the public in dialogue about their work and its implications for society. The demand on scientists to engage with society is also echoed in science policies, as well as in the grant conditions of major science donors and funders. Given that researchers are essential role players in public engagement with science, understanding their views in relation to engagement with the public is important to enable a supportive environment to close the widening gap between scientists and nonexperts. 04_NRF_SMM_Vol5_Issue3_Young-Scientists-and-Public-Engagement-Perspectives-from-SADownload Share on Facebook Share on X
