Call for Papers: Globelics International Conference 2025

The Globelics International Conference 2025 is set to take place from 24 to 26 November 2025 at the National Research Foundation in Pretoria, South Africa.

Under the theme, “Innovation for Sustainable and Inclusive Development to Build Resilience for Global Challenges,” this global gathering will bring together researchers, policymakers, and innovators to explore solutions for a more resilient and inclusive future.

Call for Papers: We invite scholars to submit their research contributions. The submission deadline is 01 June 2025. Don’t miss this opportunity to be part of critical discussions shaping the future of innovation and development.

About the Globelics Conference:

This year’s Globelics Conference focuses on innovation for sustainable and inclusive development, addressing global challenges like inequality, climate change, and geopolitical disruptions, especially in developing nations.

Aligned with South Africa’s G20 presidency, it emphasises the role of innovation in fostering inclusivity and sustainability.

The conference will offer insights to enhance Africa and the Global South’s leadership in global decision-making. The conference will precede the Science Forum South Africa (SFSA) from November 25 to 28, 2025, a major event for discussing science, technology, and innovation policies. Globelics attendees are encouraged to join SFSA’s discussions.

The event is co-hosted by the National Research Foundation, DSI/NRF Trilateral Chair in Transformative Innovation,  with partners in Tshwane University of Technology, the University of Witwatersrand, and the Human Sciences Research Council.
