Quote Description:	APPOINTMENT OF A PANEL OF SERVICE PROVIDERS TO CONDUCT HR-RELATED INVESTIGATIONS AND CHAIR GRIEVANCE AND/OR DISCIPLINARY HEARINGS INVOLVING ALL EMPLOYEES, INCLUDING SENIOR MANAGEMENT, AT THE NATIONAL RESEARCH FOUNDATION (NRF) FOR A PERIOD OF 12 MONTHS.

High Level Summary of Requirements:	The National Research Foundation (NRF) seeks to appoint a maximum of 5 service providers to serve on its Employee Relations (ER) Panel for a period of 12 months. The specific services required include: •Investigations: Conducting formal inquiries into matters related to employee conduct or capacity. •Grievance Hearings: Investigating employee complaints (“grievances”) and/or chairing the formal grievance hearing proceedings. •Disciplinary & Incapacity Processes: Chairing, initiating, and investigating formal disciplinary inquiries (for misconduct) and incapacity inquiries (for poor performance or ill health). •Collective Bargaining: Facilitating negotiations between the NRF and labour unions. •Internal Dispute Resolution: Mediating disputes internally to find a mutually agreeable solution and/or providing advisory support to the parties involved. •Training/capacity building of line management on chairing and initiating disciplinary processes. Represent the NRF at various employment dispute resolution platforms such as CCMA or Labour Courts.
