WEBINAR: Transdisciplinary partnerships for environmental sustainability (SDG17)

This session examines how transdisciplinary partnerships drive practical solutions to environmental challenges, highlighting initiatives such as the TERRA+ School in Japan. It draws on Belmont Forum’s approach to funding collaborative, impact-focused research, the EPIC-N model for community centred regional partnerships, and UNEP’s use of digital tools such as Digital Product Information Systems (DPIS) to support sustainable and circular transitions. Together, these contributions show how co-created, place-based innovations can enhance climate resilience, support sustainable resource management, and sustain long-term ecological balance.
