Invitation: International Year of Basic Sciences for Sustainable Development Roundtable

The International Year of Basic Sciences for Sustainable Development (IYBSSD) launched globally on 8 July 2022. On 25 August 2022, a IYBSSD Roundtable discussion will take place, focusing on ‘Interdisciplinarity between Basic Sciences and the Social Sciences and Humanities in advancing the Sustainable Development Goals’. The IYBSSD Roundtable is organised by the Department of Science and Innovation (DSI), the National Research Foundation (NRF), and the Academy of Science of South Africa (ASSAf).
