wpadmin NRF in the News June 28, 2024 The NRF invited story submissions from NRF-affiliated students and researchers (past and present) in celebration of the NRF’s 25th anniversary. Story submissions opened at the beginning of April and closed at the end of May 2024. The publication of the stories commenced in June (Youth Month) and will continue during the rest of 2024. As a show of appreciation, the NRF committed to reward eleven submitters for their efforts in a random prize draw. The draw, which is available on the NRF’s YouTube here, was presented by Ms Tandi Mapukata, NRF Head of Communications, and Ms Thalia Brussow, NRF Social Media Officer, and overseen by the NRF’s Acting Head of Internal Audit, Ms Pumeza Canca. Prizes The grand prize is a “ticket” to the NRF Awards for the winner and their partner. This includes travel and accommodation costs to attend the NRF Awards ceremony on 22 August 2024 at Sun City. Also included is a Takealot voucher of R1 000. The ten runners-up will each receive a Takealot Voucher to the value of R1 000: Congratulations to the winners and a big thank you to all who submitted their stories.
